You can tell when Christians are living on the wrong side of the Cross by how they speak and pray.

I’m just a sinner saved by grace, My heart is deceitfully wicked, After all, I’m only human, I have to fight my old nature, Someday I will be dead to sin, God, if it is Your will, please heal, You must get right before you go to God, Please don’t take your Holy Spirit from me, God, rend the heavens and come down! God will not share His glory with another!

Don’t you know that we aren’t the same, we have been born again, a new man, my friends the old has past away and all things are now new. I am a new creation in Christ, I am no longer “just human” in fact I am dead and it is Christ who now lives in me and through me, we must expect to then see His glory in us and flowing through us.

Living on the wrong side of the Cross is when we are talking and praying things that have already been resolved under the New Covenant, they may have been true before you were saved, but they are not true now.

And the truth will make you free.
