A Noah Generation
As it was in the days of Noah so it will be in the coming of the Son of man, so many folk declare the coming of the Lord but not many speak of the culture of that day, we can imagine what it was like in his day when God looked for a righteous man and only found one.
Jesus declares “…Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:8
In Noah’s day we read that he walked with God, but it was a day when no one else did, if we are looking for the return of the Lord we must also be looking for the days of Noah when many will walk with the Lord no more.
There will be a time when we feel alone, when people tell us we’re too religious as those around us compromise their faith on the basis that everyone else does.
Here’s the warning, never let culture interpret the Word, never let society pressure you to compromise your convictions concern the Word. The Bible interprets itself, the grass withers and the flower fades, but the Word of God endures forever. Imagine how many cultures, societies and generations of people the Bible has transitioned yet remains constant and true to it’s self and relevant for today.
So let’s lift our heads and declare our redemption draws near, as we remain secure in the Ark, the very presence of Christ Himself.
