Commitment

Commitment

  1. The state or quality of being dedicated to a cause.
  2. An engagement or obligation that restricts freedom of action.

We find such attributes as we read His word, allow it to infiltrate our lives and transform us from the inside out.

1 Sam 17:29 tells us of a young man who steps up when all else cower down and after being criticized he declares,

“But isn’t there a cause, isn’t this bigger than my comfort and security.”

Galatians tells us that our life isn’t our own, but we have been bought for a price, the price of the cross that arrests us to say as Peter said “Lord where would we go, You alone have the words of eternal life, You are Jesus Christ the Lord.”

Church we are constrained by the declaration within us,

This is the way I must walk, there is no other!
